The Chapel of the Children’s Mother is located just outside the village and more specifically along the road leading to Paliometocho. It is a small single-aisled chapel with an arched roof, which has been renovated several times so far and as a result its construction date remains unknown. According to tradition, the chapel is built on a cave where two princes who had been lost were found.

Virgin Mary, “Mother of Children”, protects, as Loizos Philipou mentions and as this is salvaged in the book of Agios Kyprianos*, “sick and cachectic children” (p.79).

In the tree located north of the church patients hang pieces of clothing which symbolize the illness which they believe they can leave behind and be cured from.
